Our Mission & Philosophy
The Haji Waris Ali Shah Foundation was conceptualized as a vehicle of pure social welfare, serving the marginalized segments of our society without any religious, sectarian, political, or social discrimination. Our team operates entirely on a voluntary basis, driven by the desire to help widows, destitute families, orphans, and students achieve sustainable, dignified livelihoods.
Following the teachings of spiritual tolerance and universal love, our name represents unity, compassion, and tireless dedication to the poor. We emphasize clean moral codes, community cooperation, and transparency in all projects.
Government Approvals & Compliance
We operate strictly under the statutory framework of Pakistan. The Society has been issued a Certificate of Registration of Societies (Registration No: KAR NO. 087 of 2024-25) under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act XXI of 1860), issued by the Joint Stock Companies, Government of Sindh.
Key Registration Chronology:
- ✓ Home Department NOC: Holds operational clearance (NOC No: FATF/HD/15/201/NOC/2023/31) authorizing standard welfare operations across the territories of Sindh province.
- ✓ Sindh Charities Registry: Registration under the Sindh Charities Act 2019 is in process, as part of our commitment to operate welfare distributions in full legal compliance.
- ✓ Transparency Commitment: In accordance with statutory rules, the Society has never been registered under any other conflicting jurisdiction, nor holds subsidiary structures outside its primary welfare charter.

Financial Transparency & No Administrative Deductions
Haji Waris Ali Shah Foundation has a strict 0% administrative deduction policy, so no portion of your donation is spent on administrative overhead, rent, executive salaries, or marketing campaigns.
Donor Funds Distribution
100% of all public contributions, general donations, and zakat funds will be spent directly on planned welfare work such as rations, medical supplies, educational materials, and mosque support.
Operational Overhead Support
All logistics, printing, auditing fees, office space maintenance, and utilities are fully financed by our Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Executive Board members from their own personal funds.
